I wanted to design a piece specifically for the modern man who seeks a powerful alternative to the traditional, rigid blazer. While observing how contemporary menswear often relies on restrictive tailoring to project authority,
I wanted to prove that volume and fluid drapes could command a room with even greater presence. The inspiration for this version focused heavily on engineering a loose, authoritative neckline that sits completely naturally on a masculine frame. By utilizing the heavy architecture of hand-woven Ăᚣáť-Ăkè to anchor the collar, we created a robe that drops perfectly open to showcase the collar layers or jewelry underneath, framing a man's chest with an unmistakable aura of protective, unshakeable strength.
